The inaugural Octane Capital 5-a-side Cup kicked off in June at Powerleague Wembley, with key intermediary partners competing for the trophy and LDN Finance were excited to put our hat in the ring.
A well-spirited, round-robin tournament, the highlight of the day was the surprise appearance of ex-Arsenal midfielder and French World Cup winner, Robert Pires on the opposing side of the field. Effortlessly weaving through our defences and seamless passing, it was no surprise we didn’t come away with a win, but the team didn’t seem to mind.
