The Annual Property Awards ‘PROPS’ lunch is an annual event that takes place to raise money for Variety, the Children’s Charity. Variety raises funds to provide coaches and bespoke wheelchairs, along with specialist, sensory and recreational equipment for use in the home, school, children’s hospitals and youth centres.
LDN Finance Director, Chris Oatway and Executive Director, Colin Anderson were delighted to attend the 28th Annual Property Awards ‘PROPS’ Lunch on 14th May at the London Hilton, Park Lane. Thank you to Medianett and Glenhawk for hosting them at their tables.
The awards are a hallmarked event in the property calendar, covering the full spectrum of the industry. They give the opportunity for those working in the property world to meet and network whilst having the opportunity to give back through charitable initiatives and auctions.
The event was hosted by Martin Bayfield, a great character whose quick one liners and responses kept the energy going throughout the lunch. The highlight of the event was the headline young ambassador speaker, an inspirational young lad named Dante, who suffers from a brittle bone condition. With confidence and a bag of personality, the 11-year-old talked about his life experience and his aspiration to go to the Paralympics in the future. A true heart-jerking presentation, inspiring the audience and encouraging guests to pledge money to buy additional wheelchairs for children whom the charity supports.
